Any Manchester Met student can put themselves forward to become part of our Student Officer team at The Union. These five roles are voted in the Student Officer Elections.
There are lots of students at Manchester Met. We’re here to make sure the voices of all of our students are heard.
Every year, five students are elected to lead The Union and represent the views, opinions and experiences of every Manchester Met student.
These five students each have a different role.
President
Wellbeing Officer
Represents students on non-academic areas of student life, such as:
Education Officer
Represents students on everything that affects their education, such as:
Sports Officer
Works on everything to do with students involved in sport, such as:
Societies and Development Officer
If there’s things you’d like to change about life at Manchester Met, become a Student Officer and make the changes you want to see. Whether it's changing timetables or more mental health support for students, you can decide to focus on any campaign that matters to you.
